We shot this video on location in Madrid during Halloween night with Rocio Leon as the protagonist. I wanted to capture the quest of a lonely girl who goes out to try and seek out fun in the company of others, only to end up feeling even more isolated by the strangeness of apparently ordinary things.

The idea for this video was simple: to graphically represent the feelings that one experiences after a painful break up, when your body is rooted in the present but your mind can't avoid replaying memories from the defunct relationship, analyzing every small detail in search of an answer to why things ended the way they did. I chose to shoot this video with a real couple, approaching it like a documentary in an attempt to capture what is feels like to be in love in an authentic manner.
